Biography
"Dimitris Galanis was born in Athens in 1879. He studied Civil Engineering at the National Technical University from 1897 to1899. In 1899 he began to study painting under Nikiforos Lytras. In 1900 he travelled to Paris where he studied at the School of Fine Arts. He made trips to Athens, Munich, Berlin, Paris. He died in Athens in 1966."
