Description
This print is included in the album that Galanis published in cooperation with the Gallimard publications in 1919. Through the 4 woodcuts of the album,the artist demonstrates his points of view about the structure of still life through a simplified and summarized design with many cubist elements.The artist uses different methods of wood's engraving in some parts of the print . The glass and the background are depicted in dotted way (dots on wood plate made by a hammer).This technique is a Galanis conception. The rest composition has been created with vertical and horizontal engravings.
