Municipality of Larissa
Description
This is one of the latest works of the painter in which we can observe the evolution in the tone of his maturity. This maturity is underlined by the more expressive rendering of the hands, the more prettified features and the cautious treatment of volumes. The figure of the girl composes a triangular shape in a neutral surrounding area. The Portrait was transferred to etching at about the same period.
