Municipality of Larissa
Description
It is a landscape in the region of Cassis in southern France where the artist's country house was. The landscape and the village were depicted in many prints and paintings. The composition is characterized by strong linearity. The deep engravings on the wood, at some points -as the road are straight -and at some others -such as at the side of the road- are crossed in order to create a unique chiaroscuro.
