Description
An uphill paved alley , with wide steps leads from the first level to a higher one in the background, where various characteristic island buildings co-exist with no gaps among them.The paved with various coloured stones alley extends like a mosaic in the painting, without being visible in detail though, Along with the domed buildings , the loose arches and the wooden openings gives a special style to this small part of the traditonal island district.The light falls selectivelyn on some surfaces and that intensifies the impression of sadness in its interior.
