Description
Long short buildings that remind od factories or storage houses cover the whole first level of the painting with their wide surfaces and their few small openings are in contrast with the most complex constructions of the few neo classsical buildings on the left in the back The usage of the same grey and brown tones for their attribution makes the contrast clearer to the dominant lines without any stress put on detail The volumes of the buildings dominate through the whole painting area but a small piece of sky is left where rosy light comes from the right.
