Registration Tsarouchis Yiannis
(1910-1989)
Biography
Yannis Tsarouchis was born in 1910 in Piraeus. He studied at the University of Fine Arts at the course of K.Parthenis. He became an apprentice for four years at the laboratory of F. Kontogloy. He travelled to Paris where also setteled after the coup d'etat of junta in 1967. In step with the painting he cultivated with great success his love for the theatre. He made settings and suits for many theatrical representations. He published articles and studies and founded in 1981 the Yannis Tsaroychis Museum. He died in Athens in 1989.
