Description
The most main thematic element of Tsarouchis dominates in the work. And it is not other than the human figure. This male form is not decorative or a secondary element of creation but the leading one. The folk young man that looks like he has been drawn with spontaneity sits exhausted in the chair with the "marks of" work obvious: rolled up sleves and trouser legs. The scenic couldn't be simpler: a chair and a table from a cafe. Besides the stage designs of the painter always testify details of folk art. Any decorative or "voluble" disposal is absent. Tsarouchis accomplishes with thrifty ways to render the boy as a very eloquent form.
