Registration Gounaropoulos Giorgos
(1889-1977)
Biography
Giorgos Gounaropoulos was born in Sozopoli of Bulgaria in 1889. He studied painting at the School of Arts in Athens from 1907 to 1912. In 1917 he won the scholarship of the Averoffio Competition at the National Technical University and in 1919 left for Paris to continue his studies until 1925. In 1932 he returned to Greece and died in Athens in 1977.
