Description
The project «Girls embroidering» was designed during 1920-22 during his stay in Paris . The artist has managed to overcome the circumstances of Greek art and manages more comfort with the vocabulary of European modernism. The forms of three young girls with big art of shape recoverable and without any particular physiognomical detail. The highly stylized attitude and rythm in their movements create a harmonious, almost geometric effect. In this plead also the colors that are limited to mild grades.
It is worth noting that this list was the inspiration and model for the project «The wedding dress» of Dimitris Gioldasi also reported in Katsigra Collection.
