Municipality of Larissa
Description
A vase with white roses is placed in an unspecified area and background.The use of very dark tones, mainly brown, hardly allows the depiction of a strange construction in the background, but also of the vase with the flowers. The space seems to be turned into a pessimistic, almost gloomy atmosphere, and the white roses in the center are the only lightening source of the painting .The composition is based colorly on this contrast and on various tonic shades.
