Description
A large pomegranate is placed at the first level on the right side in an unspecified painted area, which consists of two wide zones of color.The white color defines the storage place, perhaps a table, while the background is colored in dark blue, creating a greatest contrast with the red and the orange tones of the pomegranate.The bright red color gives a sense of freshness to the fruit, while the orange color shows the drained appearence of it. The rendering of the picture is quite free, in a way that even the brushstrokes are obvious.The whole constitutes a simple still life.
