Description
His work, deals with a subject inspired from the rural life and specifically harvesting Three farmers are harvesting in a field. Anthis attributes with success the sense of heat of a summer day through the shades of yellow that fill the field but also the sky. His priority is not to describe the subject with detail, but to attribute his substance, via the sharpness of drawing and the plenitude of colour.
