Description
In this work a woman from Skyros side view from the left is from the album collection Skyros (1961). The woman is dressed in a traditional dress and is presented in a background where geometrical volumes of white buildings dominate.The features are austere and standardized so that the form can aquire characteristics of a symbol.In addition the wide development of the surfaces of her body favour her monumental presentation.The tonality of her dress moves on a low key scale of brown and dark red , to which the cold azure of the background respectively responds.
