Description
The painting «Rhodes» takes place in the countryside.There are three people travelling on their animals. To the left is distinguished clearly a girl with long black braid. To the right and less clearly we discern the two others. The clouds in the sky are pictured with wide and quick brushstrokes. This painting and the majority of Germenis paintings are characterized by the indefinite light and the thick and solid colors.
