Description
A standstill small boat in the middle of a calm sea , is freighted with fishing nets and the two fishermen on it are preparing to throw the nets at the sea.Despite the fact that the figures turn their backs to the viewer, one of them seems to make the characteristic movement of opening his hands. The other two small boats on the left side of the painting complement he composition.The crystal surface of the sea, with the small brushstrokes which reflect the purple glows of thw sky is characteristic.We can also see the diffusion of the light on the low mountains of the horizon line, which are depicted with orange tones.
