Municipality of Larissa
Description
In a narrow open place in front of tall two and three storey buildings various human figures gather and participate at a local bazaar. Women and men show their goods , look at the stalls, some are carrying things while others are just talking. On the left side of the work a tent facillitates the travelling traders' needs. Two tall trees close the edges of the composition while in the background ranges of mountains rise above the houses. In the center however the empty space created after the short rocky wall is in contrast with the dense narration of the rest of the composition.
