Description

"The spectator finds himself in the "hinterland of" the beach and looks at the small gulf. Some boats deserted and anchored on the sand are portrayed in first level- the three entire ones and the one on the right side fragmentarily. The mountain range in the second plan, leads to original sharp peak form. The swirling stroke at the point of the sky tries to attribute the wind and the rainfall that will come. The painting is distinguished for the clarity of drawing and the anti-naturallistic colour that is observed in almost the whole painting surface: in the sand, in the mountain range, in the water. The boat with beautiful red that objects the "dull element" of the timber is perhaps the most enchanting point of work.
