Description
The symmetry of this composition, where the mainly subject of off-hand wooden bridge separates almost in the middle the surface of work, is found in the antipode of his chromatic treatment. With free, bold brushstroke the colour unfolds in rich [epalliles] layers at the models of [Impresioniston] and mainly Claude Monet. The harmony, the beauty and the magnificence of landscape dominate absolutely also the presence of two human forms that hastily crosses the bridge and is attributed gauntly, as simple outlines, intensifies the sense of vastness and loneliness that inspires the Thessalian nature.
