Description
The «Woman with barrel», is a painting that shows the Germenis aptitude in the use of colors. It depicts a loaded woman who is walking. All the parts of the scene are formed with color. The lighting is too much and leaves on the ground a deep shadow of the figure.The way that the white color has used on the sight of houses is the most interesting point. With subtle variations in color shades, and with the help of brown, the artist 'builds' the exterior of the buildings.
