Description
Four figures are placed in pairs, around a round table, within an indefined generally space.The man with the cap and the woman in black on the right focus their pensive expression in the center of the table. In the picture there is a little blonde boy who has placed his toy, a small boat, on the tabe.The little boy is placed on the center of the axis of the window, which drenches with light the boy and his toy. The figure in red contrasts with the blue color fo the boy's clothes and balances the whole depiction.The script is free and expressionistic. In response to a simple toy, the painter probably wants to show the importance of navigation for Greece and the families which are involved in it.
