Description
In this landscape an abstract of the hill of Nymphes in Theseio. The greatest part of the the painting surface is occupied at the front by the bulk of a small hill.The elegant dome of the observatory which was built by the Danish architect Th.hansen1843-1846 has been moved back and its line is barely seen.The work is of impressionistic technique; the motifs are drawn with colour and their materialization looks like beeing lost under the mid day light, Interesting is the moving texture which surfaces get with the small towards every direction strokes
