Description
In the centre of the painting a male figure dominates She is frontal and imposing. The body is disproportionate with the head which is small and with black colour. The background cannot be determined and simply certain parallel vertical and horizontal lines at intervals can be distinguished. The characteristics of the figure are by no means attributed rendering it impersonal and inaccessible. The work is expressionistic. The figure with its size is imposing and captures the spectator.
