Registration Psychopaidis Yiannis
(1945-)
Biography
Yannis Psychopaidis was born in 1945 in Athens. He studied engraving at the University of Fine Arts from 1963 until 1968. He completed his studies as a scholar of DAAD from 1971 until 1975 with postgraduate studies in painting at the Academy of Fine Arts of Munich. He lived and worked in Munich until 1977. Then he settled in Berlin as a scholar of the artistic program of Western Berlin. In Germany he remained until 1987 and afterwards he lived in Brussels. In 1992 he returned to Greece. In 1994 he became professor at the University of Fine Arts. His articles were published in newspapers and magazines while he has written certain books illustrated.
