Registration Moschos George
(1906-1990)
Biography
George Moschos was born in 1906 in Alexadroupolis. He studied painting and engraving at the Faculty of Fine Arts from 1928 to 1935. He travelled to Paris to do liberal studies in1937 and in 1951 to London. He made a career as a professor of drawing and interior decoration at the Papastrateio School and the Greek College for girls and Anatolia in Thessaloniki. He was an active member of the art groups Liberal Artists and Stathmi Workshop. In 1956 he published a study about the methods of engraving. He died in 1990
