Biography
"Jannis Psychopedis was born in Athens in 1945. He studied printmaking at the School of Fine Arts from 1963 to 1968. He completed his studies on a DAAD scholarship from 1971 to 1975 at the Munich Academy of Fine Arts with a graduate degree in painting. He lived and worked in Munich until 1977. Then he moved to Berlin on a scholarship from the art programme of West Berlin. He lived in Germany until 1987 and then went to Brussels. In 1992 he returned to Greece. In 1994 he became Professor at the Athens School of Fine Arts. He has written articles in newspapers and magazines and has published his own books,some of which are illustrated."
