Description
Subject of this picture is a family that is attributed as a dense cluster of forms, declaration of their narrow sentimental relations. On the left the father embraces with one hand the mother on the right, while in between them, at more inferior point of the cluster, is distinguished their small girl, that grasps by the dress of her mother. The figures, as it usually happens in the works by Sikeliotis, are barefoot and encompassed by stressed black outlines the level space in which they are placed remains neutral and empty from each clue, while officiality of their position reminds pose of folk photographs.
