Description
One of the subjects that the painter processed with real perseverance in the all duration of his long-lasting course is that of [chionismenoy] landscape. In the particular case, is portrayed a opinion of [chionismenis] Thessalian plain and mountains in the depth. The absolutely level composition split the imposing form [gerikoy] [apogymnomenoy] plane tree and the form of farmer with his animal that advances hesitantly in the vastness of white setting. It suits here absolutely what it writes Light [Bogiatzis] in his study for the painter in 1976: "The winter hour of painter is serious and quiet. [Paiximo] the children in the snow, [chionopolemos], [chionanthropos] it is unknowingly in his work. Perhaps because they do not include in t o his own more general feeling of harmony and balance".
