Description
During his frequent trips around Greece in order to enrich hia painting impressions Gioldasis visited Meteora. That's where the panoramic view of the complex of the rocks ,on the tops of which there are monasteries vaguely visible, is.The dark tones that form the rocks are in contrast with the warm tones of the sky which triumphally states the moment of dusk. The absence of any human figure intensifies the impression of the wild but also imposing scene.
