Municipality of Larissa
Description
The painting pictures an isolated coastal landscape with little vegetation. In the center of the painting surface we can see a possibly male figure on a little donkey - this is the only move that can be distinguished in the area. A part of a mountain range is hardly noticed at the second level. The main points of Phocas project are the large surfaces, the strong light,the transparent color that reminds some watercolors and the melancholic, almost romantic mood.
