Description
Ferekidis who is designated as «the Greek landscape painter» gives a representative sample of his work ih this painting. A plain, with local vegetation and a river that croosses it, is extended from the center of the painting surface to the bottom right. The plain is surrounded by mountain ranges which are pictured with bold color choice. The vertical axes of the two trees are dominant to the left side of the painting.
