Description
The particular poem is a traditionall song in which there is an indication about the pirates that pestered the residents of islands and coastal regions. Here the transport of verses in a picture is freer with regard to in the conceptual part. On the one hand it attributes the prison and from the other it attempts it connect this traditional song with its own topicality. For this reason on the wall of the prison he has also written the date 1941, while on the lower part of the composition with red ink the phrase: " Prison's bars are for brave men". The intention ofthe artist for reinforcement of national feeling is distinguished. The composition follows the Byzantine models and reminds intensely the Byzantine manuscripts.Two dimension output absence of prospect,intense modelling on the faces and stylished folding on clothing.
