Description

It is a painting which,as shown from its title, is reminiscent of Monet's homonymous series and shows a granary. At the left of the painting there are three successive stacks which are set up one behind the other while in front of them stands a wooden post. In the center there are scattered ears and in the right sidre there is another stack, which is cut to the side. Behind the stack to the right and turned to this a female figure is distinguished with a white kerchief in her head. In the background you can see the plains and the mountains and the blue sky. The painting is impressionistic and the indifference for the detail prevails. The main colors are yellow, brown, blue for the horizon and the green.
