Municipality of Larissa
Description
A young girl is portrayed seated diagonally tothe left. She has short black hair, an abstract look that does not look at the spectatore and joint lips. She is wearing a check jacket with grey, orange, green and black colours. From insideshe is wearing a white dress with a collar and tie. Her hands are entwined on her legs. The background is neutral and in grey colour. The outline is distinguished clearly and the shades of the face and the hands are intense. The picture gives the sense of constriction and innocence. From the way that the colours have been placed the work is included in expressionism. On the face not dominate soft passages but abrupt alternation of dark and luminous tones dominate.
