Description
The artist dealt particularly with landscaping in the years of the '70 s',a period from which the particular work. Here fragmentarily a department of old Athens with neoclassic houses is depicted fragmentarily, between which is distinguished on the right side one narrow back street. The back street leads the look until the background plans, but the frontal output ofthe buildings to the depth places a limit in the prospect growth of the composition. The strict organisation of geometric subjects, as also the simplified outlining drawing, that changes volumes in level formes, remove this urban landscape from the naturalistic landscaping] perception.
