Description
His exceptional faculties in the realistic imprinting of reality reveals inthis painting Dukas. In vague dark background a dish appears loaded with fruits, grapes and pomegranates. The accent in the output of different texture of surfaces but also the discreet presence of light, that gives a mild accentual painting, register this work in the influence of the great tradition of Dutch painting of 17th century.
