Description
In this picture this scene ofthe Last Supper has been transferred to modern everyday routine. Seven figures that could be workers or farmers are depicted in stressed same head level and they refer thus to Byzantine painting. The forms are standing in frontof a narrow horizontal table, charged with various utensiles. The paratactic rythm of their frontal and still position, but also the oblong level space in which they are developed, are very close to the perception mural frieze. The primitivism of the drawing is conscious and adds a naive disposal to the picture.
