Description
In the frames of his frequent travels in all Greece in order to it enriches his paintings experiences, [Gioldasis] visited also the Saint Term. It is known, moreover, that from 19 December 1926 until 23 January 1927 published his impressions in the newspaper "Sunday of ΄[Eleytheroy] [Bimatos]΄". Very probably the particular work it is dated in this period, while basic characteristics familiar mature styles of [Gioldasi], as the hot colours do not exist here. On the contrary, dominates the abrupt alternation hot and chills of tones, more intense in the depth of table, so the last level appears equally actively with first. The suppression of prospect and the [epipedopoiisi] of volumes imply the fertile effect of work of Konstantinos [Malea], with which [Gioldasis] was connected friendlily.
