Description
In this picture on the left a female figure, a mother, who is leaning is holding her child in her arms. On the left , on the same horizontal axis a seated man is placed , whose head and body are turned towards the woman' further back fragmentally another standing female figure is discerned. The figures are surrounded but also distinguished at the same time by shaded geometrical levels which come in contrast with wider white surrounding ebnvironment.As it usually occures in Sikeliotis works , two dimensional surfaces draw the figures, whose development is paratacticaland reminds of a mural.
