Municipality of Larissa
Description
The painting shows three male figures dressed in military clothes. From left to right in the foreground we can see the sitting and frontal strategist who has just read the letter which holds in his hands. Behind of him there are the stone -built lodgings which in their entrance have a white curtain pulled to the side. On the right and at the second level, there are two figures, the one seated and the one standing which ties with bandages the head of the first figure. In the right background we can discern the mountain and the sky. The artist has represented what is necessary without the depiction of persons' characteristics. In other words the painting is narrative while yellow, brown, green and blue are the main used colors.
