Description
Here the face of a girl is pictured that is turned slightly in three fourth to the right and appearrs on a level and elliptic background. A curve line outlines the person and gives her a touching intensity. The form looks at the spectator, while her characteristics are not individual, but stylished, according to the form creating code that the artist shaped after 1950: sideways big eyes and fleshy lips. The conscious primitivism of the picture seeks to raise the form above the individual and change it in a symbol of a catholic type..
