Municipality of Larissa
Description
A donkey transporting on his back one young woman and together her baskets with greens.They are moving in a narrow earthy street, between trees and low plants, in the middle of an idealistically given scene.However, the sense of movement is not achieved and their forms look immobilised, like they're posing.The woman is wearing rural clothes, skirt, apron, scarf on the shoulders and head.A chiasmus of the main lines, wants the body of the woman turned to the right, her face however is frontal.Simultaneously her look directs contrary to the body to the left, while a small bent to the left , has the donkey's form as well, that looks like it is hesitating..
