Description
"Red lamp", constitutes the unique oil painting of Vassiliou that belongs to the Collection of the Art gallery. It is a subject that was presented in his works already by the mid 60's, and it is met in variants and with the technique of engraving. The particular painting shows one islander lamp. The whole composition is structured in a red single depth. In the lower part of the composition micrographic groups of people are presented.An effort for individualisation of appearance and their characteristics is noticeable.
