Description
A drawing that depicts in a diagonal disposition a woman treating the feet of a Negress. On the figure of the woman various positions of her have been drawn.The dark colour of the servant's skin has been attributed with pencil. Around the figures are various objects like vessels, the woman's sandals , a cauldron. The space isn't described. The drawing is quick with many lines that reveal worry about the movement. The theme is from the Orient and suits the tendency of that time to orientalism
