Description
The angel is attributed here as a naked woman in frontal attitude and appearrs on a level and unspecified background. Interest is the fact that she crosses the hands on t o her breast· one formal pose of feminine forms of Sikeliotis, simple and official simultaneously. Curved black outlines spread on the figure and watch her extent in the space, without stopping in decorative details. The face and her body present the elements of the general type that characterizes the artist's nudes: round head, big eyes, fleshy mouth, sensual breasts and thighs.
