Description
In «Autumn landscape», Yoldassis follows the style of French painters of the 19th century and especially Jean-Fran?ois Millet (1814-1875).We can see the full of lyricism and serenity of the natural landscape. It is perhaps a depiction of the slope of the picturesque village Rouso near Karditsa. Simple, formalized levels are developed in harmonical parallel, giving an artistic perspective to the painting. The color, either spread out in wide horizontal brushstrokes, or in spots, reflects the greenness of nature during the autumn months.
