Description
Bifoliate titled "Greek funeral feast ", it constitutes the illustration of the poem by Aggelos Sikelianos. The representation is framed by eight men dressedin archaic] clothing. One of them stands more apart and from his gesture it becomes perceptible that he is the one that makes the call to Dionysos- Hades. The composition follows the Byzantine models and reminds intensely of the Byzantine manuscripts. Two dimension output, absence of prospect, intense modelling on the faces andstylished folding on the clothing.
