Municipality of Larissa
Description
The work titled "Small church", constitutes one from his two landscapes that belong to the Katsigra Collection . On a hill is a small, white, church is distinguished. The figurative surface is separated in two levels. The ground and the sky, that come in opposition to each other. The sky and the clouds are attributed with united chromatic surfaces, light blue and white, an element that emanates from expressionism. Decisive role in this work, as in most of Kosmadopoylos works, plays the light.
