Description
The work which is entitled «Arachova», takes place on the countryside and has the same style as the work «Rhodes» (Catalog No. 89), Nevertheless, in this work there is a more strong sense that this is a mountainous landscape.It depictes a woman who climbs the stairs of her house. The house is surrounded by rocks of the first figurative plan and by mountains that are spread in the background. In addition , there are more chiaroscuros in this work, as under the roof of the house and around the rocks.
