Description
The landscape covers the biggest part of Asteriadis paintings in which we can discern the variations in tone and style. In the «Threshing floor of Tegea», the artist wants to depict a snapshot of rural life. Six farmers in the threshing floor are absorbed in their work. For the background the artist uses pyramids created by bushes. The composition is distinguished for its diversity which is created by the different postures and movements of the people.
